After a Confusing Dream

Dreams

The physiological phenomenon of dreaming: Dreams are sequences of images, thoughts, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily during certain stages of sleep. We all dream, even if we don’t always remember them.

Blessings

  • Divine favor: Many religions believe that blessings come from a higher power, such as God, and are expressions of their love and care for us.
  • Rituals and prayers: Blessings can be invoked through specific rituals or prayers, asking for divine protection, guidance, or abundance.
  • Spiritual gifts: Some religious traditions see blessings as spiritual gifts or abilities bestowed by a higher power, like healing, wisdom, or prophecy.

Dreams

Dream Catcher

Their purpose was to protect sleepers, especially children, from bad dreams, nightmares and evil spirits. Native Americans believed that at night the air was filled with dreams, both good and bad. They would hang the dream catcher over their beds.

For the most effective results, the dream catcher should hang above the crib or bed and must be exposed to sunlight. It functions by filtering the good dreams from the bad dreams; it captures bad dreams and only allows good thoughts and dreams to enter the unconscious mind.
